Lexmark hits the markets with a smart, ultra-compact computer printer. The new Lexmark Z517 Inkjet Printer is an advanced device especially designed for home applications.
Thermal Inkjet technology supported this new model comes in 135 x 404 x 216 mm ultra-sleek profile and it weighs less. It supports three colour ink cartridges, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow. For true black text, this new model features optional black cartridge as well.
Print speeds of the device are up to 12ppm (Draft mono), 7ppm ((Draft colour), 9ppm (Normal, Black) and 3ppm (Normal, Colour). Printer provides up to 2400 x 1200 dpi (black) and up to 4800 x 1200 dpi (colour) resolution to the layouts.
Maximum media input capacity of the device is 100 pages (75 gsm bond). Supported media types include card stock, coated paper, envelopes, glossy paper, labels, plain paper, transparencies, banner (A4 or Letter), Hagaki card, index card (3″x5″), Iron-On transfers and photo paper.
This new inkjet printer with 2000 pages monthly duty cycle is ideal for users looking for a compact device that provide hassle-free printing. You can use USB 2.0 interface of the device to connect printer with PC.
During operation, Lexmark Z517 Thermal Inkjet Printer has a sound emission of 45dBA but it won’t make any disturbances to the users. It can be employed in operation with system running Apple MacOS X 10.1.5, Microsoft Windows 98/ME/2000/XP or Apple MacOS X 10.2.3-10.2.8. Driver for device instillation will be provided with the printer, while purchasing.
