HP DeskJet 6980 Inkjet Printer qualifies a print speed of 36ppm for black while for colour it is 27ppm. For colour photos you get a best quality print within 67 seconds. The printing technology used is HP thermal inkjet where as for colour printing HP photoret III is the technology is used. The print quality offered for black is 1200 x 1200 dpi whereas for colour it is 4800 x 1200 optimized dpi and 1200 input dpi. A standard memory of 32MB is installed in it.
It yields a duty cycle of 5000 pages per month. It also has an automatic duplex print option. The maximum input capacity of the printer is 400 sheets and the output capacity is 50 sheets. It also enables borderless printing.
