The new printer has Epson Micro Piezo inkjet technology and the ink type is Epson Ultra Chrome K3 with vivid magenta. With 180 nozzles (per cartridge) nozzle configuration, the minimum ink droplet size is 3.5pl and has 8 individual ink tanks. The maximum resolution for black & white is 1440 dpi x 720 dpi and that for colour is 1440 dpi x 720 dpi.
