Canon, their new Canon PIXMA MP 210 Inkjet Printer. There is no doubt about the high quality printouts taken from this unit.
This is a multifunction printer which can act as copier, printer and scanner. As an efficient printer it can print and copy documents in mono and colour, that too up to 22 and 17 ppm respectively. Photos can be printed in the most attractive way with 4800 x 1200 dpi resolution. It has a colour depth of 24bit and grey scale depth is 16bit. Borderless printing of 10×15cm is possible in 46sec. The device utilizes Canon FINE technology which supports 4 inks namely cyan, magenta, yellow and black. Scanning can be done at 600dpi. Copier is of Digital type.
This inkjet printer supports plain paper, cards, envelopes, labels and photo paper as media types. It has a capacity to hold up to 100 sheets. It can support a maximum size of (216 x 356 mm) and 216 x 297 mm.
Another outstanding feature of this Canon inkjet printer is its capability to take direct prints from PC and digital cameras. There is a Hi-Speed USB interface. It is EPA Energy Star Compliant too. To give an impressive performance the device consumes just 13 Watts and requires a voltage of AC 110/230 V (50/60Hz). In the standby mode power consumption is only 1.1Watt and it is just .8Watt in the sleep mode. While operating sound emission is 42.5 dB.
Apart from quality, it is fast enough in its functions. Quick-start and Auto –Image Fix feature supported by the device helps to save time.
Operating System Supported by the unit are MS Windows XP, MS Windows 2000, Apple Mac OS X 10.2.8 - 10.4.x and MS Windows Vista. Drivers & Utilities, ScanSoft OmniPage SE and Canon Easy-PhotoPrint are the software included.
